{"id":1835,"date":"2023-06-28T12:15:42","date_gmt":"2023-06-28T10:15:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/inminer.es\/?p=1835"},"modified":"2023-06-28T12:17:56","modified_gmt":"2023-06-28T10:17:56","slug":"voladura-de-la-torre-de-refrigeracion-de-elcogas","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/inminer.es\/en\/voladura-de-la-torre-de-refrigeracion-de-elcogas\/","title":{"rendered":"BLASTING OF THE ELCOG\u00c1S COOLING TOWER."},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<p>On this day, 5 years ago, the cooling tower of the ELCOGAS Integrated Combined Cycle Power Plant in Puertollano was blown up. This marked the zenith of the dismantling of said plant, as well as the definitive goodbye to coal as a fuel to produce energy in the Puertollano region.\nINM\u00cdNER INGENIER\u00cdA, received the order for the blasting project from MAXAM, which had been awarded the execution of the same. For its part INM\u00cdNER ING. had accumulated experience in this type of work thanks to the blasting of the SEVILLANA cooling tower, which at that time belonged to the electric company VIESGO GENERACI\u00d3N and whose blasting was entrusted to the company CONTROL DEMETER in 2015. That blasting, It was the first of those features that was made in Spain. A success that years later was replicated with the ELCOGAS tower.\nThis concrete structure, 122 meters high and with a diameter of up to 85.5 meters, had to be demolished as part of the plant's dismantling work and, due to its dimensions and geometry, the best option was to propose a controlled blast.\nAfter a thorough calculation process, an action plan was designed for the positioning of the explosive, security perimeters, dust collection systems, etc. On the indicated day, the blasting proceeded as planned.\nOnce the column of smoke was cleared, he revealed the remains that were still standing, even wobbly: a series of rubble of the structure, which was later demolished using demolition machinery.\nIntense months of work were left behind, evaporated in a few thousandths of a second, just as everything had been planned.<br \/>INM\u00cdNER INGENIER\u00cdA, recibi\u00f3 el encargo del proyecto de la voladura por parte de\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/company\/maxam\/\">MAXAM<\/a>, la cual hab\u00eda sido adjudicataria de la ejecuci\u00f3n de la misma. Por su parte INM\u00cdNER ING. atesoraba la experiencia en este tipo de trabajos gracias a la voladura de la torre de refrigeraci\u00f3n de la SEVILLANA, que por aquella \u00e9poca pertenec\u00eda a la compa\u00f1\u00eda el\u00e9ctrica VIESGO GENERACI\u00d3N y cuya voladura fue encargada a la empresa CONTROL DEMETER en el a\u00f1o 2015. Aquella voladura, fue la primera de esas caracter\u00edsticas que se hizo en Espa\u00f1a. Todo un \u00e9xito que a\u00f1os m\u00e1s tarde fue replicado con la torre de ELCOGAS.<br \/>Esta estructura de hormig\u00f3n de 122 metros de altura y un di\u00e1metro de hasta 85,5 metros, deb\u00eda ser demolida dentro de las labores de desmantelamiento de la planta y, debido a sus dimensiones y a su geometr\u00eda, la mejor opci\u00f3n fue plantear una voladura controlada.<br \/>Tras un minucioso proceso de c\u00e1lculo, se dise\u00f1\u00f3 un plan de actuaci\u00f3n para el posicionamiento del explosivo, per\u00edmetros de seguridad, sistemas de captaci\u00f3n de polvo, etc. El d\u00eda indicado, la voladura se desarroll\u00f3 tal y como se hab\u00eda planeado.<br \/>Una vez que la columna de humo qued\u00f3 despejada, dejo al descubierto los restos que a\u00fan incluso tambaleantes quedaban en pie: una serie de cascotes\u00a0de estructura, que posteriormente fue derruida mediante maquinaria de demolici\u00f3n.<br \/>Atr\u00e1s quedaron intensos meses de trabajo, evaporados en unas mil\u00e9simas de segundo, tal y como todo hab\u00eda sido proyectado.\u00a0<br \/><br \/><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery-1 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\"><\/p>\n<\/figure>\n<p><\/p>https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=fu7XdrmnF2g","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Un d\u00eda como hoy, hace 5 a\u00f1os, se llev\u00f3 a cabo la voladura de la torre de refrigeraci\u00f3n de la Central &#8230;<\/p>","protected":false},"author":6,"featured_media":1836,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[61],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-1835","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-noticias"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v26.9 -
