IT IS PART OF THE CIUDAD REAL BIOSANITARY CAMPUS PROJECT

The services contract for the drafting of the project, the project management of the execution, the health and safety coordination of the project, as well as the works of the Biosanitary Campus of Ciudad Real, has been awarded by the University of Castilla-La Mancha (UCLM ) to the UTE (Temporary Business Union) made up of Ramón Esteve Estudio de Arquitectura, BAC Engineering Consultancy Group and Inminer Engineering, for a total of 1,555,280 euros.

The importance of this project for INMÍNER INGENIERÍA is enormous for two main reasons: firstly, because of the emotional ties that exist between our company and Ciudad Real itself, knowing the symbolism that the construction of this university complex has for the capital of La Mancha, where part of the future health personnel of our region will be formed. Secondly, we must highlight the challenge that it represents for the members of the UTE, to achieve the objectives of zero energy balance, as well as the balance of zero net emissions for the year 2050, premises around which the design of the project, always maintaining firm the principle of environmental sustainability.

In the vicinity of the General University Hospital of Ciudad Real, on a plot granted by the city council for this purpose, a vast complex of 19,000 square meters will be erected. This complex will house the faculties of Medicine and Nursing, along with the Biomedicine Research Institute, an animal facility and the Institute of Legal Medicine. Its total cost will amount to 36.6 million euros, financed in part by FEDER Funds from the 2021-27 Operational Program, with complementary contributions from the Castilla-La Mancha Communities Board.

BLASTING OF THE ELCOGÁS COOLING TOWER.

On this day, 5 years ago, the cooling tower of the ELCOGAS Integrated Combined Cycle Power Plant in Puertollano was blown up. This marked the zenith of the dismantling of said plant, as well as the definitive goodbye to coal as a fuel to produce energy in the Puertollano region. INMÍNER INGENIERÍA, received the order for the blasting project from MAXAM, which had been awarded the execution of the same. For its part INMÍNER ING. had accumulated experience in this type of work thanks to the blasting of the SEVILLANA cooling tower, which at that time belonged to the electric company VIESGO GENERACIÓN and whose blasting was entrusted to the company CONTROL DEMETER in 2015. That blasting, It was the first of those features that was made in Spain. A success that years later was replicated with the ELCOGAS tower. This concrete structure, 122 meters high and with a diameter of up to 85.5 meters, had to be demolished as part of the plant's dismantling work and, due to its dimensions and geometry, the best option was to propose a controlled blast. After a thorough calculation process, an action plan was designed for the positioning of the explosive, security perimeters, dust collection systems, etc. On the indicated day, the blasting proceeded as planned. Once the column of smoke was cleared, he revealed the remains that were still standing, even wobbly: a series of rubble of the structure, which was later demolished using demolition machinery. Intense months of work were left behind, evaporated in a few thousandths of a second, just as everything had been planned.

INMÍNER INGENIERÍA IS PART OF THE RENOVATION WORK OF THE BRAZATORTAS-GUADALMEZ RAILWAY SECTION

INMÍNER ING. is once again part of a large construction project. In this case ADIF has allocated more than 54 million euros for the renovation of this section of around 63 km.

The successful bidder of the work, COMSA, has the services of INMÍNER INGENIERÍA for the safety and health of the work, as well as environmental management.

With this work, we continue our journey in the construction sector, carrying out support tasks in the field of industrial safety and the environment, fields with which we are strongly aware and which we continue to promote day by day.

CHEMICAL PLANT ASBESTOS MAP

After our experience in works in which asbestos was present, endangering people, hindering work, increasing costs, etc. We decided to design a system for detecting and mapping existing asbestos in any industrial area based on a sequential work procedure that combines documentary research with field work and sampling.

This is how the Asbestos Map came about. After arduous research work on the property's servers and physical archives, with projects dating from the mid-20th century to the present, a documentary base was achieved that would enable well-guided field work with important planning.

Due to the training of our technicians in matters of Safety and Health at work, as well as specific training in working with asbestos, a sampling was carried out in such a way that, together with the previous investigation, made it possible to generate a document that unequivocally identified the points where this plant was contaminated with asbestos.

PARTICIPATION OF INMÍNER INGENIERÍA IN THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE FUTURE ADMINISTRATIVE CITY OF CIUDAD REAL

INMÍNER ING. actively participates in the construction of the future administrative city of Ciudad Real. With the help of the construction company GRUPO GYO, the winner of the work, our company contributes all its experience in the field of safety on site, in order to guarantee compliance with the regulations for the prevention of occupational risks and ensure its time for the health of the workers who are part of the project. On the other hand, the management of the Coordination of Business Activities (CAE) of the project is carried out, to guarantee that all the people belonging to both the contractors and the subcontractors who will work on the construction, are holders of the corresponding permits and authorizations that the enabled for their work. The ultimate goal will always be “ZERO ACCIDENTS”.

The Community Board of Castilla-La Mancha seeks to recover the old Carmen hospital through the construction of the new 'Administrative City', a place that will bring together in the same building the different departments of the Community Board of Castilla-La Mancha in the La Mancha capital. These departments are currently spread across seven different buildings. The new space will have more than 24,000 square meters, distributed over seven floors, as well as a basement, which will house the different departments of the Community Board of Castilla-La Mancha. The project awarded to the architecture studio 'Aybar Mateos', for an amount of 544,000 euros, will 'wrap' the building in a ceramic material in ocher tones.
